Hello fellow Godot enthusiasts,

I just wanted to make a post to say that my game, Fruit Fetish (https://store.steampowered.com/app/4376740/Fruit_Fetish/), developed in Godot 4.3 is available on Steam! It released just over 24 hours ago and it has been an interesting ride to say the least... Happy to elaborate if folks are interest, but want to keep the post short. I just want to to thank the Godot community as my game would not have been possible without the incredible open source engine that it is and all the awesome people that share their knowledge.

Game Premise: Fruit Fetish is a satirical piss take on corporate culture told through a combination of crude humour and disarmingly cute pixel art style. The central premise requires you to earn Fetish Fruit Co. a billion dollars to buy your freedom. You play as Pearsly, a purpose-grown, dim-witted pear, who needs to manage the latest established store/franchise, which specialises in selling beverages made from Fetish Fruit, genetically modified self-aware fruit that love nothing more than being consumed.

Gameplay Loop: The core gameplay loop has you working against the clock to harvest, prepare, cook and sell Fetish Fruit to hungry hordes of customers, all the while playing bouncer and keeping undesirables from ruining your customers' experience. You can reinvest the store earnings into genetic enhancements and shop upgrades to optimise your cash intake in a satisfying incremental fashion. Shift by shift, learn more about the ethically/morally questionable world you find yourself in.

AI disclosure: I did not utilise gen AI in the creation of Fruit Fetish. All code, art and the majority of sound effects were created by me. Sound effects I did not create were sourced from Pixabay and I specifically chose to utilise ones from creators who do not utilise gen AI in their processes.

Much love,

Chubby Weevil

I've made an Itch page with a demo for my game to try and get feedback on it, but I'm not sure how I'm supposed to drive people towards it. This is just an early demo, so I don't think I want to be actually marketing it as a product really? More like play testers to give feedback on what they think is good or bad.

3 weeks ago i wondered what snakes would be if it was not bounded by a 2d grid,
so i did a 3 day trial of using ai to prototype

the prototype had good reaction ratings , so i went and kept working on it for another 7 days
(only open code cheap models was used) no assets was given
i manually drew over 50 skins in asperite
me and ai was co developing , while it worked on detailed document of instructions and manual playtest reviews i was busy doing skins, manual SDK implementation ,
manual testing , code reviewing , iterating over optimization methods and so forth

I went silent for a while about any updates purely because i found people trying to 1shot a clone of the first showcase, to upload it using frontier models

but now i made it live and published
shocking part came to seeing daily players for a 10day developed game
including 13 experimental game modes , 4 global leaderboards

crazygames basic launch shows average daily players of roughly 270 people
playgama shows average of 33 daily players

in comparison my main game that i manually did over a course of 2years rakes in roughly 20 daily players

ai was used on this game purely because
1)my main game dont use ai and i still do monthly updates on new skills, polish and balancing 2)then i am also working on another game for the last 2 months

Juggling concepts while juggling a busy workload can become near impossible for a 1 man army

the snakes game might get more continued updates after 1month metric analysis
that will determine if i go forth to build the online multiplayer mode

if you want to try it

I don't really know of game's that have really mixed the tower-defense genre with the idle genre, and I'm wondering if they never found the spotlight because its never tried, or because the genre's don't click well. tower-defense is mostly known for strategic placement and upgrade synergy to clear a level. and while strategic upgrades and clearing levels is also a part here, there are no problems at all if you have to try a wave again as you build up your tower-strengths.

what do you think?

Hey folks! We’re biologists building Garden of Ants, an RTS about growing and managing an ant colony.

We’ve just put together a new alpha gameplay trailer, showing some of the mechanics we’ve been working on — from expanding the nest and managing resources to exploring different layers of the environment and putting your ants to work.

There’s still plenty we want to improve, but it’s exciting to finally show more of how the different systems come together in actual gameplay.

We’d love to hear what you think — especially which mechanics stand out to you, or what you’d like to see us focus on next!

More about the game on Steam:

Hey! This is Cragnarok, a physics-based destruction hero shooter with Norse heroes. Walls, towers and the ground break apart, so every fight changes the map. The movement is fast, fun and agile, you are the hero and an unstoppable force.

You can play the wave campaign solo or in co-op, PvP with friends, or defend a castle in the war mode against a whole army or minigames with your friends.

The open beta is now finally out and free for now (Windows): https://cragnarok.gebes.io

Game Title: Underplane

Most of the time the honest answer is "stand still" — and the app says so, with a countdown on your lock screen via a Live Activity. When you can improve your position, it gives you a walking or driving route to the intercept point and a margin you can trust. When the aircraft passes, it grades the catch on how close to directly overhead you actually stood: PERFECT at 0m, down through Good.

Catches land in a flight log and a trophy case of 14 badges, a leaderboard ranks everyone who has stood under one, and tapping any flight gives you its route context.

Nothing about the grade is decorative. It's computed from your real position against the aircraft's real track — it measures how well you positioned yourself.

We’ve been working on this game for a while, and it’s honestly a little surreal to finally have a playable demo out there.

Night Drive: Anomaly is a horror driving game where you’re just trying to get through the night… while keeping an eye out for things that shouldn’t be there.

This is our first public demo, so we’d genuinely love to hear what you think — whether it’s the atmosphere, driving, anomalies, or anything that feels off.

If you get a chance to play it, please let us know what you think!

And if you enjoy it, consider wishlisting the game on Steam. It helps us a lot as a small team. ❤️

Hey everyone, I’ve been working on my game, Vector Void, in Godot. It’s a neon-style arcade shooter where you fight waves of enemies, unlock new ships, and survive as long as possible.
I’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback on the game.

Hi Everyone! We are Space Lizard Games and we are developing Gamblin' Geezers, a roguelike card game built on Rummy. Your grandma has gone missing from her nursing home. Nobody there remembers where she went, and the only way to get answers out of them is to beat them at cards.

  • Play Rummy against 3 AI opponents with distinct play styles
  • Walk the halls in first person and choose which doors to open
  • Gamble on side games and explore the nursing home
  • Collect Heirlooms and card modifiers that bend the rules
  • Face bosses who each play a different variant (Gin, Oklahoma, Tonk and more)
  • Take breaks for shuffleboard and darts in the rec room and water aerobics

The game is free and fully playable in the browser via our itch link at the top.

The game is still in development, so a quick first impression helps a lot. What hooked you, what lost you, where you quit, what you would like more of, that kind of thing.

Hi! Solo dev here. The idea is a survivors-like where you can't back off. The camera keeps climbing, a wall of fog rises behind you, and everything the warlord sends down the mountain is in between. You can dodge and circle all you like, you just can't retreat and reset a fight.

WASD to move, mouse to aim (you fire on your own), Space for special ability per class. Every level up you pick one of three traits: fire, frost, meteors, illusions, extra arrows. They stack in some silly ways. There's a boss at the top.

It's a demo and runs take about 10 minutes. I'd love to know whether the core game loop was interesting.

Made a browser game thats basically a simple way to mess around with how markets work without risking real money.

You start with a little cash buy/sell in a simulated market and slowly work your way up.

The market changes as you play so you kinda start learning why prices move, buying/selling pressure etc without really needing to know much about trading.

Runs free in the browser and still in beta. Mainly looking for people who are curious about markets but never really knew where to start.

Hey everyone, I train jiu-jitsu and have been building a game called BJJ Tap Legends.

You start as a white belt, explore towns, train, work to earn in-game money, and buy instructionals and gear as you improve. Competition takes you from local tournaments toward Worlds.

I’d love for other people to give it a try. It’s free to play at https://BJJTapLegends.com, and an Android release on Google Play is coming soon.

Hey everyone! I’ve been working on Crimson Harvest, a PS1-inspired farming horror game, and I finally released the free demo on Steam!

The premise is that you’re trying to grow enough crops for the harvest at the end of the week while also trying to survive many different unique monsters with their own behaviors and signs to watch out for.

I really wanted to combine the routine and progression of a farming game with survival horror, where the farm itself gives you something worth protecting instead of the game only being about staying alive.

The demo currently covers the first few days of the game and takes around an hour to complete depending on how you play.

This is my first commercial game, so finally having something publicly playable has been a pretty huge milestone for me! I’d genuinely love to hear what people think of it, especially what works, what doesn’t, and what you’d want to see expanded in the full game.

The demo is completely free on Steam, I’ll put the link in the comments!

Hi! Im Saul Goodman- Uh.. Hi! Im Dominix

This is a game ive been working on for about 3 months now!

Ive made some decent progress. With simple level generation. And horrible models!

All the images shown are from VERY different versions of the game. The one with the doorway is the newest.

Ofc, this is a backrooms game! So I tried to get that liminal spaces feel. Along with a retro effect.

Uhh... idk what else lol. Feel free to contact me on Discord for more info or playtesting!

Hey everyone, I recently built Xetodus, a space MMO that runs entirely in your browser.

You can explore 750+ procedural star systems, fly 20+ ships, and train 17+ skills. You can also land on planets to build colonies, set up drilling operations on moons, and fight other players or take on PvE battles.

Explore the universe, work toward your next ship, or find a planet to call home.

It’s playable now: xetodus.com

No separate download required. It’s free to play, with an optional paid membership for additional features. Mobile supported also! WebGL or WebGPU support required (any modern browser).

I’d really appreciate some fresh eyes on it, especially the first few minutes. Are the flight controls clear, and do you know what to do once you’re in your ship? Feedback on what’s fun, confusing, or missing would be genuinely helpful.

I got tired of never being able to play slither-style games in the same match as friends, so I made one where you pick a server by name ("meet me in Cold Pizza") and invite links drop people straight into your room. Powerups, bots at three skill levels, backgrounds that change as you level up, and a headshot sound that I'm way too proud of.

Free, no account, works on phones. Would love to hear what feels off.

Hello. In my game Core Of Havoc status effects not only modify numbers and show visuals, but there are gameplay interaction added to each of them.

For example, when you shock an enemy, not only it increases the crit chance and multi against them, but also when you crit a shocked enemy, lightning arcs are emitted to nearby enemies with damage proportional from the base hit.

So it's totally possible to use shock as a way to clear packs. You just need to combine a weapon that applies shock with another one with high chance or even guaranteed crits.

If you're interested to learn more about the game, you can check how the affixes works in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSOAo0r6i-8

And of course, if you like the game, you can wishlist it on the Steam page (Release in early 2027) https://store.steampowered.com/app/4223480/Core_Of_Havoc/

I made a free bullet hell MMO inspired by Realm of the Mad God.

Play instantly as a guest, no sign-up or download

Works on phone and desktop

6 classes, permadeath, dungeons, a shared vault

No disconnect deaths: if your connection drops, your character freezes and can't be hit until you're back

It's still early, so I'd love feedback and bug reports. Thanks!

I'm a solo dev working on my first indie project, Max Bid. An incremental game where you bid on storage containers, then sell the goods for profit, upgrade your device for bigger payouts, and automate the process with Bidder bots.

I've been working on this for about 4 months after my 9-5 shifts, and finally reached the milestone of getting it up on Steam.

Now I'm working hard to get the demo out so people can try it.

Game Title: Cragnarok

Playable Link: https://cragnarok.gebes.io/

Platform: Windows (PC)

Description:

Cragnarok is a fast arena shooter with Norse heroes in a fully destructible voxel world. Walls, towers and the ground itself break apart, so every fight changes the map. Hi all — I'm Ardis, I lead the team and direct the art on Extracto Proviso, a first-person factory game in UE5. Posted an intro elsewhere on Sunday and realised I'd listed features instead of explaining what the game actually is. Second try.

You're an android with two problems.

You're a lone android sent to a planet you know nothing about, equipped with a harvester and the ability to build a hub. From there it's automation all the way: biomass to ores, ores to buildings, buildings to technologies you were never told about.

The humans want deliveries. Every quota comes with a timer and a patience meter that slides from green to red. Let it hit red and they send troops — survivable early if you're quick, but they hit harder every time, and harder the deeper into the game you are.

The planet doesn't want you either. Once your factory starts polluting, the aliens fight back. Their nests are everywhere, and just being near one drains your stamina — running, jumping, jetpack, all of it. So you clear nests not just to fight, but to make the world walkable. When a nest breaks, eggs drop. Raise one and it becomes a companion that fights beside you, levels up with every win, and can be stationed in a nest of your own to guard the base.

The factory in between is the calm part: grid-snapped building, endless floor panels, and floating islands you can ramp up to and build on — where you may find rarer ores. Warp gates and drones move what you mine, so you're not running belts across the sky. Build ramps up to the islands, floors between them, move your whole base into the sky or just use the islands as supply. Do what you want. It's your problem now.

Where it's at: Free demo on Steam, Steam Next Fest Oct 19, Early Access Nov 2.

Links in the first comment. I'll be around to reply, but I'm in Europe so late comments may get a morning answer :)

Hey! I’m a solo dev and for the past couple of years I’ve been working on Chiby.io(https://chibyio.itch.io/chibyio), a collection of multiplayer party games you can play directly in the browser with friends.

There’s no download or account needed — you create a room, share the code, and play.

It currently has games like drawing, image guessing, word games, social deduction and a few other weird little ideas I’ve built along the way 😄 .

It’s completely free and I’m still actively working on it.

Would genuinely love to hear what you think, especially which game you enjoy most (or absolutely hate 😅).

Hi! I’m an Environment Artist from Ukraine, formerly at Crytek Kyiv, and this is my solo-developed psychological horror game, Locked In: The Ward. Its first gameplay reveal was recently featured by IGN.

Locked In: The Ward is a first-person psychological horror game set around the abandoned Ravenrock Research Facility. You play as a woman who has no memory of how she got there and gradually uncover the facility’s past, Project ECHO, and the mystery surrounding Subject #0012.

The game is focused on exploration, puzzles, environmental storytelling and psychological horror. Strange events become increasingly difficult to distinguish from reality — lights behave unpredictably, objects move, sounds appear where they shouldn’t, and the environment itself can change around you.

There’s no traditional combat focus. I want the tension to come from exploring the facility, solving its mysteries and never being completely sure whether what you just experienced was real.

The current reveal trailer shows an early build, and several mechanics and paranormal events I’m working on aren’t shown yet. Future trailers will reveal much more.

I’d love to hear what you think about the atmosphere and concept so far!

Command a crew of tiny bots, build a modular space base, and repel relentless alien swarms. Build, upgrade, defend, and don't forget to pet and play with the crew members.

This is my (and kiwis) take on a zen small scale real-time strategy base builder game with a neat roguelite upgrade system that lets you build out a new arsenal every run! And you can pet your little bots and play with them between runs!!

We’ve just opened the playtest for Violence of Action.

It’s a WWII-inspired real-time tactical game where you command a small force of soldiers and vehicles, use tactical pause to plan attacks, or take direct control of any unit yourself.

Buildings are destructible, soldiers persist through the campaign, vehicles use modular damage, and battles feed into a larger turn-based strategic map.

We’re a very small team and the game is still in development, so this playtest is mainly about getting the game into players’ hands early and seeing what works and what needs changing.

The playtest is open through Steam now for anyone who wants to give it a try.
