Hey everyone!

I've been solo developing The Heist, a 4–10 player multiplayer social deduction game set inside a museum.

The idea is simple: steal priceless artifacts, outsmart security, and escape without getting caught.

But there's a twist — everyone has a role.

Some players are trying to steal, others are protecting the museum, and some have their own objectives.

The game currently features:

  • 9 different roles
  • Hacking, traps, and security systems
  • Valuable artifacts to steal and carry
  • Multiple escape routes
  • Social deduction, deception, and unexpected betrayals

I've spent a lot of time building this project on my own, and I've reached the point where I really need actual players to test it.

I'm looking for playtesters to help me figure out what's fun, what's confusing, and what needs improvement — especially role balance and multiplayer gameplay.

You can download here: Itch.io

The video shows actual footage from the game.

If you're interested in testing The Heist, leave a comment or send me a DM!

Thanks for checking out my game. Every bit of support means a lot to me as a solo developer. ❤️

StickFrag is a free multiplayer stickman FPS that runs in the browser: https://stickfrag.com

Type a name, press Play, and you're in a match in a few seconds. No download, no account, nothing to buy.

What's in it

  • Two modes: team deathmatch, and gun game, where every kill swaps your gun and the first player through the whole ladder wins
  • Up to 16 players per room. Bots fill the empty seats, so a match always has someone to fight
  • 12 guns, 3 knives and 3 grenades, on 5 maps
  • Private rooms: send friends a room code
  • Comic-book look: every frame gets ink outlines, and stickmen go full ragdoll when they die
  • Runs on weak laptops and Chromebooks

What I want to hear: how the aim and movement feel, which gun feels wrong, and whether you'd play a second round. It's brand new, so every comment helps.

GenAI declaration: I wrote the code with an AI coding assistant (Claude), and it helped me draft this post. The models are built in code from simple shapes, and every sound is synthesized in code. No generated images, 3D models, sounds or voices. The video is real gameplay. The game uses no AI when you play.

The idea is that the Vigil can only be hit while staggered. To stagger it, you need it to lunge at you so that it ends up at the edge of the platform. The only way to dodge its lunge is to use your phase ability. If it hits you, you tumble to the ground, and the window to hit it back closes before you can get up.

Striking it while it circles you causes it to leap out of the way and counter-attack. The counter-attack will be a lunge, but if you manage to strike it afterwards, the next attack has a 75% chance of being a vertical crescent strike, to keep you on your toes.

After one third and two thirds of its health is depleted, it shoots horizontal crescents at you. These must be avoided by jumping - the phase won't help. That's the game's language: red and electric = no phase.

One little thing I kept for the adventurous or for speedrunners: You can get to this boss without grabbing the phase skill first, but the idea is that you should go get it before facing the Vigil if you don't want a bad time. There *is* one way to avoid the lunges without the phase, though, and that's by getting off the platform. If you're fast, you can get back up and get a hit in before it recovers.

Mind: This is the first boss in the game, and it's not a soulslike, haha. I want it to be relatively easy, but not dull.

I wanted to share here to show what can be achieved if you keep at your side projects. I love seeing what everyone is working on and behind every great game or idea shared here are countless unseen hours.

I hope that seeing where this game started and where it is now inspires you in some way to keep working on whatever you're working on :)

Game Title: PESTBOUND

Playable Link: No public playable build yet — sharing the trailer for Trailer Tuesday. Project website: https://pestbound.com

Platform: PC / Windows

Description:

Hi everyone, I'm Patrick from Germany, and I'm developing PESTBOUND on my own. It's an open-world voxel survival shooter inspired by the time I've spent playing games like DayZ and Escape from Tarkov.

The world covers 4 km², with abandoned settlements, forests and roads to explore. You search for food, water and equipment, build a base, and deal with infected creatures and other survivors. There are vehicles, hunting and fishing, and the game is being built around playing alone or with friends on PvE or PvP servers.

For combat, I'm aiming for responsive movement, readable encounters and destructible surroundings that change how a fight plays out. The trailer shows scenes captured in the game. I'm currently working on getting the first playable build ready to share.

I'd love some honest feedback on what you see: does the movement look natural, and are the fights easy to follow from this camera angle? Which scene makes you want to see more, and which one doesn't work for you?

Free to Play Status:

[ ] Free to play

[ ] Demo/Key available

[x] Paid — in development; Trailer Tuesday submission

Involvement: I'm the solo developer of PESTBOUND. Creating my own survival game has been a dream of mine for years, and I'd really appreciate hearing what you think of it so far.

We're really excited to finally share Mimic Hunt, our first game!

Mimic Hunt is a multiplayer stealth game where you hide in plain sight among crowds of NPCs. As a Hider, you need to blend in, mimic NPC behavior, and eliminate your assigned targets without exposing yourself.

Other players can take the role of Hunters and try to figure out which characters in the crowd are actually real players. They'll need to watch for suspicious behavior, disturbances, and anything that doesn't quite look right.

The world also reacts to what happens around it, so pulling out a weapon or causing violence can send civilians into a panic and quickly ruin your cover.

We've been working hard on the game, so we're really happy to finally be able to show it publicly. Here's our first gameplay trailer, we'd love to hear what you think!

Hey guys!

Another casual gameplay recording of my upcoming game Virvel. Game's inspired by classic movement titles such as CS Source surfing, Sonic, haste & Celeste. All about that momentum rush and flow. I skateboard in real life and sought to mimic that thrill in Virvel.

What do you guys think? I'm publishing it on Steam soon, just need to finalize my darn capsule art hah, I'm not the best at it. (Note, music is not made by me, just played in the bg).

Cheers!

Every time we talk about making a 2D run 'n' gun, someone tells us that classic arcade shooters don't sell anymore unless they have procedural generation or meta-progression loops.

We chose to ignore that and focus 100% on making a game with pure arcade flow, hand-drawn 2D animation and adding our own twist of throwing bowling balls and tennis balls instead of standard guns.

Do you think ""dead genres"" are actually dead, or are players just waiting for someone to modernize them?

Hey everyone,

five years ago, my friend and I started working on a game. Now, we're finally ready to share our upcoming demo.

It's called Tank Havoc - a top-down, team-based multiplayer shooter where you pick a unique tank operator and fight across different game modes.

The trailer introduces Marcus, a veteran haunted by his past, who sees the arena as more than just a competition. Each operator has their own story, personality, and reasons for stepping into the arena, and we're looking forward to sharing more of them as development continues.

The demo features two modes:

Supply Drop (collect and steal crates) and Bomb Run (get the bomb into the enemy base).

We're just two devs, and there's no AI-generated content in the game.

Thanks for taking a look.

I'll be around to answer any questions.

Hi! I'm a solo developer of ECHO SEQUENCE, a top-down roguelite shooter.

When you die (or end a loop on purpose), that life replays as an 'Echo': a hologram that repeats every step and every shot you took, while you play the level again beside it. Levels need more than one pair of hands: plates to hold, a cart to guard, a boss to bring down. So you plan across loops and let your past selves do part of the job.

The Steam page went live today: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5362750?utm_source=reddit&utm_campaign=announce

Full trailer: https://youtu.be/sUnzAd8cluM

A demo is coming early next year. Happy to answer anything, and honest feedback on the trailer and steam page is very welcome. Thanks guys!

EDIT:
Btw not 12km² LOL 151 km²! its ~12x12km

I'm currently building my own open-world sandbox zombie game :)

It's been a lot of work so far, but it's finally starting to feel like an actual game.

I've hand-built over 100 searchable buildings in Blender, added 15 weapons, and a bunch of items/tools like bandages, splint kits, pills, etc. etc.

The map is finished, the loot system is working, and there's already a lot to explore and discover.

I also finished my own horde addon with custom zombie AI, plus a real cloud/weather system instead of just using a skybox.

The goal is:

  • Full base building/crafting system
  • Full loot system
  • Co-op for up to 8 players
  • No PvP, just PvE

The part that still absolutely sucks right now is animations. Hands, weapons, everything around that is still rough.

And 3rd-person animations are honestly my personal nightmare

Still a ton of work left, but... let's see where this goes.

Hi everyone!

More than a year ago, I released a shoot 'em up on itch.io. It got played by 5 people in total.

I eventually abandoned the project because it clearly wasn't resonating with players.

But earlier this year, after seeing the growing popularity of incremental games, I thought, why not try turning it into one?

So I took the shoot 'em up I had given up on and completely reworked it into an incremental game, with increasingly huge waves of enemies.

I released the new version on itch, CrazyGames and Steam, and it quickly reached 10,000+ players, with very positive feedback.

The final game on Steam ended up making more than $1,000 in its first two weeks, which I'm incredibly proud of considering this was my first commercial release.

I definitely made some mistakes along the way. The game is probably way too short, and the capsules could have been much better.

But overall, it was a fantastic learning experience, and seeing people actually enjoy something I had almost completely given up on has motivated me to keep going with gamedev.

Thanks for reading!

Hi, I am a 14 year old game dev and I've been learning Unity for 7-8 months, and I really like what I'm doing. I don't use AI while coding or for any other stuff to actually learn. For the past month, I've been developing a fan-made Spider-Man game for android and I saw a guy on X who vibe-coded a Spider-Man game in literally a single day which was looking better than my game and I felt like everything that I did in the last couple of weeks for nothing. Will knowing how to manually code or develop games be worth anything in the next 10 years? Am I just wasting my time by not using AI or should I keep going? I really need some advice. Also here's a gameplay video of my game if anyone wants to check it out:

Hi.

It's been 6 months since I released the announcement trailer for my indie game called Direland.
I've been working hard and packed all the latest progress into this 1-minute video!
Hope you guys like it!
(To clarify: this is 6 months of progress since the previous trailer, not 6 months of total development!)

Here's the things I've added.

  1. Water reflection and ripples
  2. 3 new Bosses( Crab/Lobster, SandWyrm, SlimeDragon), also they are unfinished
  3. Parts breaks system
  4. VFX for bosses and player combat
  5. Combat for each weapon(one-hand sword/ two-hand blade)
  6. Some armor sets
  7. Character build system such as Growth Board and Skill Board
  8. Some buildings
  9. Some placeable objects for base building
  10. Bunch of item icons.

3 weeks ago i wondered what snakes would be if it was not bounded by a 2d grid,
so i did a 3 day trial of using ai to prototype

the prototype had good reaction ratings , so i went and kept working on it for another 7 days
(only open code cheap models was used) no assets was given
i manually drew over 50 skins in asperite
me and ai was co developing , while it worked on detailed document of instructions and manual playtest reviews i was busy doing skins, manual SDK implementation ,
manual testing , code reviewing , iterating over optimization methods and so forth

I went silent for a while about any updates purely because i found people trying to 1shot a clone of the first showcase, to upload it using frontier models

but now i made it live and published
shocking part came to seeing daily players for a 10day developed game
including 13 experimental game modes , 4 global leaderboards

crazygames basic launch shows average daily players of roughly 270 people
playgama shows average of 33 daily players

in comparison my main game that i manually did over a course of 2years rakes in roughly 20 daily players

ai was used on this game purely because
1)my main game dont use ai and i still do monthly updates on new skills, polish and balancing 2)then i am also working on another game for the last 2 months

Juggling concepts while juggling a busy workload can become near impossible for a 1 man army

the snakes game might get more continued updates after 1month metric analysis
that will determine if i go forth to build the online multiplayer mode

if you want to try it

Hey! This is Cragnarok, a physics-based destruction hero shooter with Norse heroes. Walls, towers and the ground break apart, so every fight changes the map. The movement is fast, fun and agile, you are the hero and an unstoppable force.

You can play the wave campaign solo or in co-op, PvP with friends, or defend a castle in the war mode against a whole army or minigames with your friends.

The open beta is now finally out and free for now (Windows): https://cragnarok.gebes.io

Hey everyone, I’ve been working on my game, Vector Void, in Godot. It’s a neon-style arcade shooter where you fight waves of enemies, unlock new ships, and survive as long as possible.
I’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback on the game.

Hi! Solo dev here. The idea is a survivors-like where you can't back off. The camera keeps climbing, a wall of fog rises behind you, and everything the warlord sends down the mountain is in between. You can dodge and circle all you like, you just can't retreat and reset a fight.

WASD to move, mouse to aim (you fire on your own), Space for special ability per class. Every level up you pick one of three traits: fire, frost, meteors, illusions, extra arrows. They stack in some silly ways. There's a boss at the top.

It's a demo and runs take about 10 minutes. I'd love to know whether the core game loop was interesting.

I got tired of never being able to play slither-style games in the same match as friends, so I made one where you pick a server by name ("meet me in Cold Pizza") and invite links drop people straight into your room. Powerups, bots at three skill levels, backgrounds that change as you level up, and a headshot sound that I'm way too proud of.

Free, no account, works on phones. Would love to hear what feels off.

Hello. In my game Core Of Havoc status effects not only modify numbers and show visuals, but there are gameplay interaction added to each of them.

For example, when you shock an enemy, not only it increases the crit chance and multi against them, but also when you crit a shocked enemy, lightning arcs are emitted to nearby enemies with damage proportional from the base hit.

So it's totally possible to use shock as a way to clear packs. You just need to combine a weapon that applies shock with another one with high chance or even guaranteed crits.

If you're interested to learn more about the game, you can check how the affixes works in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSOAo0r6i-8

And of course, if you like the game, you can wishlist it on the Steam page (Release in early 2027) https://store.steampowered.com/app/4223480/Core_Of_Havoc/

Play instantly as a guest, no sign-up or download

Works on phone and desktop

6 classes, permadeath, dungeons, a shared vault

No disconnect deaths: if your connection drops, your character freezes and can't be hit until you're back

It's still early, so I'd love feedback and bug reports. Thanks!

Hi all — I'm Ardis, I lead the team and direct the art on Extracto Proviso, a first-person factory game in UE5. Posted an intro elsewhere on Sunday and realised I'd listed features instead of explaining what the game actually is. Second try.

You're an android with two problems.

You're a lone android sent to a planet you know nothing about, equipped with a harvester and the ability to build a hub. From there it's automation all the way: biomass to ores, ores to buildings, buildings to technologies you were never told about.

The humans want deliveries. Every quota comes with a timer and a patience meter that slides from green to red. Let it hit red and they send troops — survivable early if you're quick, but they hit harder every time, and harder the deeper into the game you are.

The planet doesn't want you either. Once your factory starts polluting, the aliens fight back. Their nests are everywhere, and just being near one drains your stamina — running, jumping, jetpack, all of it. So you clear nests not just to fight, but to make the world walkable. When a nest breaks, eggs drop. Raise one and it becomes a companion that fights beside you, levels up with every win, and can be stationed in a nest of your own to guard the base.

The factory in between is the calm part: grid-snapped building, endless floor panels, and floating islands you can ramp up to and build on — where you may find rarer ores. Warp gates and drones move what you mine, so you're not running belts across the sky. Build ramps up to the islands, floors between them, move your whole base into the sky or just use the islands as supply. Do what you want. It's your problem now.

Where it's at: Free demo on Steam, Steam Next Fest Oct 19, Early Access Nov 2.

Links in the first comment. I'll be around to reply, but I'm in Europe so late comments may get a morning answer :)
