First week of my game-a-week challenge. This week's theme is " everything fits in a single screen". For this week I made a platformer where you see everything through a screen and you constantly have to stabilize it so you don't lose and make it to one of the two doors at the end of the plateform.
This is my Game Hub application. It includes three games: Tap Frenzy, Light It Up, and Quiz Rush. The app also includes Stats, Map, and Settings.
Playing Level 1 of my solo-dev puzzle game, 52 Card Pickup! Every level starts with a table full of scattered cards, and the aim is to sort every card into its correct pack. This first level has 208 cards on the table and just one slot to fill.
Cards are sorted by turning them face up, then moving them into the slot. Every card you sort scores points, and a combo builds the faster you place them, runs and sets score extra.
Free Play is already part of the full game (just locked in this demo). Achievements, multiplayer modes, and an eventual Steam release are all planned.
Right now the game is in the early stages of development, and your feedback shapes the full game.

A LOT has happened since our last devlog! In this episode, we talk about the release of our public demo, the feedback we've received, our first Gamescom, and what's coming next for Locomochi.

🎮 Our public demo is finally out! ✨ Visual improvements, new lighting, VFX, and a brand-new trailer. 🛠️ The challenges we faced while polishing the game before release. 🧩 9 levels to explore, including 5 main levels and 4 optional puzzles. 💬 Player feedback, reviews, streams, and what we've learned from our first public demo. 📊 Our demo numbers: wishlists, players, playtime, and the journey from seeing Locomochi to actually playing it. 🚂 Our first time at Gamescom! 🍺 Courage Cologne, where we got to watch people play Locomochi in person and meet publishers and potential partners. 🤝 Around 11 meetings with publishers and industry professionals.
The demo has been a huge milestone for us, but it's also shown us how much work is still ahead. We're now looking for the right partners to help us bring Locomochi to its full potential.
