I thought my game was finished. So one evening I sat down to play it start to finish, one last time — and two-thirds of the way through I stopped playing and started writing a new list.
This is the last stretch before the first Steam build of The Tower to God, a dark fantasy pixel platformer I've been building alone in Godot 4, mostly in one-hour sessions. Four bugs turned into idle sounds for NPCs nobody talks to, a breathing animation nobody will consciously notice, music from a friend, a settings menu I forgot to build, and a Steam upload process whose official tutorial is nine years old.
The first playtest keys are out. Next video is about what came back.
