Nobody outside our development circle had ever actually played Galactic Realms: Quest for the Forgotten.
So at PAX West, we handed the controls to Jenna Stoeber, gave her a quick look at the keyboard controls, and sent her into the Rift live on stage.
She had no practice run. No walkthrough. No knowledge of the dungeon or the route ahead. This was her first time playing Galactic Realms, and our first public live gameplay presentation.
This is what happened.
VIP PLAYTEST BEGINS SEPTEMBER 23
We are getting ready to open the dungeon to our first group of VIP players. The Playtest shown here is a focused single-player Expedition built around combat, exploration, extraction, leaderboard scoring, and limited Testnet Drakes that can be discovered through gameplay.

What is Galactic Realms?
Galactic Realms: Quest for the Forgotten is a first-person, 1-4 player co-op PvE-only extraction RPG and dungeon crawler where dark fantasy collides with forgotten technology.
Gear up in a shared, persistent underground realm, then descend into an ever-changing dimensional Rift Dungeon. Fight brutal PvE threats, explore handcrafted environments, claim rare loot, decide how far you are willing to push, and extract before the dungeon takes it back.
The Playtest in this video is intentionally focused on the Expedition itself. The larger Galactic Realms experience expands beyond the Rift into the persistent underground world, multiplayer/co-op, progression, crafting, Drakes, and the broader systems we are continuing to build.
No pay-to-win. No microtransactions. No loot boxes. Your power comes from gameplay, skill, teamwork, and smart decisions.
