Working on a feature that I saw in the new Wolverine game. Am I doing this right?

Hi everyone! I'm working on a game right now called Ski-E-O! Ski Resort Tycoon.
It's a Ski Resort management game where you run ski resorts on real mountains from around the world, built from 1-meter LiDAR data, so it's accurate to the meter. It also has seasons and real weather for each area.
I often feel like tycoon/management games like this really miss the mark when it comes to controller ports, or getting things to run on platforms like Steam Deck. I refuse to lower guest counts, or give Steam Deck players a lower-end experience. It should feel just as great to play this game on Steam Deck as it would on any other platform.
I'm not quite there yet, but I would love this community's feedback on what has worked for similar titles on Steam Deck, for control schemes, performance, visuals, etc.
Thank you!

ONE GARAGE. ONE EMPIRE.
Hodl-n-Roll is a comedy management sim about an ordinary person who buys a dusty garage and finds an old PC with a tired graphics card in a box of junk.
In the free browser demo, you have three in-game days to get the operation running: manage power limits and bills, keep equipment stable, and respond to a suspicious offer. The larger story is planned to expand into a basement operation and office, with hires, rivals, and new rules; those later chapters are not in the current demo.
Try the free 3-day demo in 11 languages: https://demo.hodlnroll.com
An account is required to start and save. The in-game economy and currency are fictional; there are no real-world trades or cash payouts. The page art is promotional illustration, not gameplay footage.
If you play, I’d love to hear: which early choice felt most interesting, and what should be clearer?
